Court: “Judgment on Jurisdiction Necessary”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has launched a $1 million initiative to mobilize conservative voters in seven key battleground states ahead of the upcoming U.S. presidential election. This initiative will continue until Election Day, following a decision by a federal district court in Pennsylvania to pause proceedings related to a lawsuit seeking to halt Musk’s prize event.

On Thursday, Reuters reported that Judge Angelo Foglietta of the Pennsylvania district court ruled to “suspend proceedings on the lawsuit seeking to stop Musk’s prize event until a federal court decides whether to take on the case.” During the hearing, the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office criticized Musk and his super PAC, America PAC, for not providing clear rules regarding the prize distribution and for failing to disclose information related to voter privacy protection adequately.

Meanwhile, Musk, who has publicly endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump and participated in campaign activities, announced that by signing the America PAC petition concerning the First and Second Amendments, he would award $1 million daily to one randomly selected participant until Election Day in November.
