The new unit group of Seventeen, Jeonghan X Wonwoo, is set to debut in June.
At midnight on the 20th, Pledis Entertainment released the concept teaser video for the first single album of Jeonghan X Wonwoo, THIS MAN – The City, on Seventeen’s official social platforms and HYBE’s YouTube channel. Accordingly, Jeonghan X Wonwoo will release their first single album THIS MAN on June 17.
The teaser video captures the city at night. The city abruptly loses power due to a flash of lightning and the name of Jeonghan and Wonwoo’s album appears with its release date.
Since their debut, Seventeen has showcased various units including the hip-hop team, performance team, and vocal team through their albums and stages. The hip-hop team’s members, Wonwoo and Mingyu, swept the iTunes song charts in nine countries/regions worldwide with their digital single “Bittersweet (Feat. Lee Hi)” which was released in May 2021. The special unit BooSeokSoon (Seungkwan, DK, Hoshi) topped music shows with eight consecutive awards with their first single album title song “Fighting (Feat. Lee Young Ji)” released in January.
