The iconic K-pop group BLACKPINK is gearing up for a major comeback.
On Thursday, BLACKPINK officially announced its 2025 world tour. YG Entertainment shared a BLACKPINK 2025 WORLD TOUR TEASER on its official blog. This marks the group’s first major project together since its BORN PINK tour, which wrapped up about a year and five months ago.
While specific details about the scale and schedule of the upcoming tour are still under wraps, YG Entertainment confirmed that major plans, including the world tour, are moving forward smoothly, as previously teased by Chief Producer Yang Hyun Suk regarding the group’s return.
BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK tour, which ran for nearly a year starting in October 2022, set a new record for a K-pop girl group’s world tour. The tour covered 34 cities and 66 shows, attracting over 1.8 million fans worldwide.
YG also revealed that they’ve created a dedicated internal project team to support BLACKPINK’s extensive group activities throughout the year. The company added that preparations for its long-awaited comeback are already progressing at a fast pace.
