Inspired by Myth, SM Jazz Trio’s ‘Prometheus’ Sets the Stage on Fire

SM Entertainment’s classical and jazz label, SM Classics, is set to drop SM Jazz Trio’s debut original track, “Prometheus,” on Friday.

The track will be available on all major music streaming platforms. “Prometheus” is a modern swing composition that brings jazz techniques to a broader audience. Inspired by the Greek and Roman mythological figure who brought fire to humanity, the song represents SM Jazz Trio’s mission to ignite passion and energy in listeners, much like Prometheus’ ever-burning flame.

Along with the track release, the SMTOWN YouTube channel will premiere a music video paying tribute to classic jazz films. The video features the SM Jazz Trio performing in a lively jazz club atmosphere. For an added surprise, world-renowned dancer Monster Woo will unexpectedly appear as the bartender and deliver a dynamic freestyle performance.

This release follows SM Jazz Trio’s debut with “Supernova (Jazz Ver.)” and its recent track “11:11 (Jazz Ver.),” which dropped on March 14.
