EXO’s Kai is gearing up for his highly anticipated comeback on April 21 with his fourth mini-album, Wait On Me.
The album will feature seven tracks, including the title song “Wait On Me.” Pre-orders will begin on Monday at various online and physical music retailers.
This release marks Kai’s return to the music scene after a two-year break, following the release of his third mini-album, Rover, in March 2023. Ahead of his comeback, Kai has already shared “Adult Swim,” one of the tracks from the upcoming album. The song is an upbeat pop track featuring a simple yet energetic drum loop. Its lyrics capture the depth of romantic emotions, comparing it to two people swimming together fearlessly beneath the surface.
Since completing his mandatory military service, Kai has kept busy with live streams, online shows, and fashion shoots. Fans can watch his performance of “Adult Swim” on Mnet’s M Countdown on April 3.
After the album’s release, Kai will kick off his 2025 KAI SOLO CONCERT TOUR. The tour will start in Seoul on May 17-18 and will include stops in ten Asian cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Manila, Bangkok, Yokohama, and Hong Kong.
