A drug control response meeting scheduled for Wednesday morning at South Korea’s Presidential Office in Yongsan was postponed. This was President Yoon Suk Yeol’s first public engagement since lifting martial law.
A presidential office official confirmed to reporters that the meeting initially planned to be chaired by Yoon at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, had been delayed.
The postponement comes as the country feels the effects of the state of emergency. As a result, further disruptions to Yoon’s schedule are expected in the coming days.
