PSG Overcomes Nice with Strategic Play, Even without Mbappé

Must read

The French Ligue 1 soccer team Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) dominated Nice. Lee Kang In (PSG) contributed to the victory as a starter.

PSG defeated Nice 2-1 in an away game at Allianz Riviera in Nice, France on the morning of the 16th (Korean time). This victory marks PSG’s first win in three games since their match against Lorient on April 25th. Expanding it to all competitions, it’s the team’s first win in five games. However, PSG has already secured its victory in Ligue 1. With 21 wins, 10 draws, and 2 losses (73 points), they are 9 points ahead of second-place AS Monaco, which has 19 wins, 7 draws, and 7 losses (64 points).

Lee Kang In started as a right winger and was replaced by Marco Asensio 26 minutes into the second half. Although he had one shot and a key pass (a pass leading to a shot), he did not leave a strong impression. Lee Kang In received a score of 6.7 from the statistical site SofaScore and a rating of 6.36 from WhoScored.com. These are decent ratings, although he is in the lower-middle range within the team.

PSG excluded some of their key players such as Kylian Mbappe from the entry list. This was because they had secured the championship early and completed their final home game. Nevertheless, PSG solidified their lead with Bradley Barcola’s opening goal 18 minutes into the first half, followed by Yoram Zague’s additional goal 23 minutes into the first half that made the score 2-0. They conceded a goal 32 minutes into the first half, but comfortably ended the game with a victory after Nice defender Melvin Bard was sent off 30 minutes into the second half.
