Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump, will become the host of a weekend program on pro-Trump broadcaster Fox News starting later this month, Fox News announced in a press release on Wednesday.
Lara will host My View with Lara Trump, which premieres on February 22.
The program will air every Saturday during primetime from 9 to 10 p.m.
Lara Trump, who married Eric Trump, the president’s second son, in 2014, is a former television producer. Since the 2016 presidential election, she has been deeply involved in supporting her father-in-law’s presidential campaigns.
In March 2024, she was appointed co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) and played a key role in securing Trump’s re-election victory in the November 5 presidential election.
Following Trump’s victory, Marco Rubio, the former U.S. senator from Florida, was nominated for Secretary of State. Lara was reportedly considering running for his vacant Senate seat but announced on December 21, 2024, via X that she had decided not to run.
In her post, Lara hinted at a major announcement, saying that she would have a big announcement to share in January 2025 and encouraged people to pay attention to it.
